What is IBD?
IBD stands for Inflammatory Bowel Disease. It's a long-term condition that causes inflammation in the digestive system (the gut). There are two main types: Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
What can I do next?
If you're worried about your symptoms, here are some helpful next steps.

Talk to a trusted adult
This could be a parent, carer, teacher or school counsellor

See your doctor (GP)
They can ask questions, check your symptoms and organise some tests if needed.

Keep track of how you feel
Write down your symptoms, when they happen and anything that seems to make them better or worse.
Remember
You know your body best. It's always okay to speak up if something doesn't feel right.
